The AEGIS AE6040-22.10 Case is a rotomoulded, waterproof, crushproof, dustproof. and extremely robust. Aegis's innovative in-house engineering design team are able to customise every aspect of the Aegis protective system in order to meet your specific protection requirements from vibration attenuation to shock and impact protection, waterproofing to dust exclusion. 

Main Features:

• Double skinned rims for extra strength and to accommodate the custom designed waterproof seal.
• Moulded in structural ribs for stacking strength and deformation resistance.
• 15-20% thicker corners for enhanced impact protection.
• Aegis Cases are designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of IP-67, MIL-STD-810G, Def Stan 81-41 Level J, STANAG 4280 and Def Stan 81-144 and exceed ATA 300, Category 1.
• All case features are moulded-in, eliminating any piercing of the case envelope - removing potential leak paths (Applies to: Integral handles, tie-down points, lifting eyes, optional document tube, desiccant tubes, pallet feet).
• High performance, custom designed lid seal for lightweight, dust-tight performance Unique compression hinge arrangement with lid stays.
• Pilfer proof lockable latch mechanism.
• Rust proof latches and strike plates.

Unlike injection moulding, the rotational moulding process allows cases and lids to be produced with twin walls for superior strength and rigidity. Many features can be readily moulded-in and integral fittings and fixtures can be incorporated in the design to ensure the rotationally moulded Aegis Case meets your every need. Aegis Cases has developed a patented ‘multi-part mould’ approach that enables handles, tie-down points and a wide range of beneficial features to be incorporated in the fundamental case design.* This unique tooling approach enables bespoke size variations to be quickly designed and tooled to meet specific requirements.
