Explorer 5140, 5131 & 5116 Modular System Tool Cases with Wheels (Drawers Version) - Completely Empty - NOT Ready for Drawers - Drawers Empty Information

Modular system comprising of the Explorer 5140, Explorer 5131 and Explorer 5116. These cases can be stacked for easy transport (with the 5140 and its wheels on the bottom) to create the ultimate travelling tool case set.

The Explorer 5140 polypropylene waterproof case includes extractable open drawers (AIDRAWs) - unless you order one of the 'empty' versions. This trolley is specifically engineered for professionals who need to carry a variety of tools and spare components. 4 trolley-suitcase-style self-oiling wheels are included to ease transport, pivoting castor wheels available as an optional extra. The 5140 also includes a telescopic handle to aid pulling between destinations. The 5131 and 5116 are robust waterproof cases that can be stacked on top of the 5140, like the 5140 they feature metal reinforced padlock hasps for increased security.

Explorer also make a version of this bundle that can carry 'AIBOX's insteads of 'AIDRAW's in the 5140. AIBOXs are almost identical to AIDRAWs, except they have plastic lids. Click here to see this version. You can also purchase the 5140 on it's own here.

Explorer 5140 Tool Case main features:

Please note:

If you order the case 'Completely Empty' then you won't be able to add 'Drawers'. This is because the case then won't come with the draw runners that those accessories need.
Explorer call the drawers 'AIDRAW's. These can be ordered in three different heights (30mm, 60mm or 95mm), with or without pre-scored, cubed foam. The drop-downs on this page let you select to purchase these with the case.
Explorer also make a version that can accept organiser boxes that they call 'AIBOXES'. These are very similar to the AIDRAWS except that they have plastic lids. If you order the version designed for AIDRAWs then AIBOXES won't fit later (the draw runners are a different size).
The case includes 4 self-oiling running wheels as standard. For those who wish to add castors (that Explorer call 'Pivoting Wheels') these are available seperately.
