A polypropylene waterproof case with extractable organiser boxes (unless you order one of the 'empty' versions). This trolley is specifically engineered for professionals who need to carry a variety of tools and spare components. 4 trolley-suitcase-style self-oiling wheels are included to ease transport, pivoting castor wheels available as an optional extra.

Explorer also make a version of this case that can carry 'AIDRAW's insteads of AIBOXs. AIDRAWs are almost identical to AIBOXs, except they do NOT have plastic lids. Click here to see this version. A notable feature of this tool case is the Explorer 5116 and Explorer 5131 waterproof cases can be stacked on top (both together or just one) to share the 5140's trolley system and telescopic handle.

Explorer 5140 Tool Case main features:

Copolymer Polypropylene compound body.
Neoprene seal on top lid and front lid.
Removable top-lid and front-lid.
Waterproof and watertight.
Sand-proof, dustproof and resistant to chemicals.
Resistant to harsh temperatures (-33°C / +90°C).
Pressure valve quickly adjusts internal pressure in case of sudden changes in height or temperature - essential for air travel.
Strong handle on each side to ease carrying.
Metal padlock hasps for securing contents.
Supports keep the case upright when the cover is open.
Telescopic handle and large wheels with bearings.
Can be stacked (even if different-size models).
PVC waterproof ID removable label/nametag.

Please note:

If you order the case 'Completely Empty' then you won't be able to add 'Organiser Boxes'. This is because the case then won't come with the draw runners that those accessories need.
Explorer call the organiser boxes 'AIBOX's. These can be ordered in three different heights (30mm, 60mm or 95mm), with or without pre-scored, cubed foam. The drop-downs on this page let you select to purchase these with the case.
Explorer also make a version that can accept open drawers that they call 'AIBOXES'. These are very similar to the AIBOXES except that they DON'T have plastic lids. If you order the version designed for AIBOXs then AIDRAWs won't fit later (the draw runners are a different size so the drawers will be too loose).
The case includes 4 self-oiling running wheels as standard. For those who wish to add castors (that Explorer call 'Pivoting Wheels') these are available seperately.
