q: What is Multilayer Foam

Multilayer foam is a dense, hardwearing foam that is immune to humidity. It is easily cut using limited tools making it ideal for the handyman and corporate customers alike.

q: How easy is Multilayer Foam to cut?

To install Multilayer Foam all you need is a marker, sharp knife and your finger. It is that easy. Multilayer Foam separates between the layers creating a perfect fit for all your tools in drawers and on walls. If you want an easy way to organise your tools and keep them safe, check it out as it allows you to make custom inserts for any tool / equipment. Available in standard sheets and custom sheets, in thicknesses of 30mm, 50mm and 70 mm (35mm, 55mm and 75mm if you add colour layer)

It is made of thin 5mm layers, so you just excavate a bit at a time as needed. Trace around your tools / equipment and then cut through the layers using a utility knife, remove the waste, and check the fit. Keep cutting until the recess is deep enough to hold the tool securely but shallow enough to grab easily.

The dual-colour foam has a single layer of coloured foam on the top. The core is easily visible against the coloured top layer - providing a very quick and easy reference showing what is missing.

Absolutely, we offer custom sizes that you can find at our site. Please note that custom size foam is always more expensive then standard foam sheets. That is because there is more labour involved in custom cutting.
