Some B&W outdoor cases come with removable lids, but removing the lid usually requires detaching the fixings that secure it to the hinge. This process can lead to the risk of losing these small parts while traveling.

The ‘B&W Quick Release Hinge Set’ addresses this issue by replacing the original fixings with ones that stay in place. Once installed, you can easily remove the case lid by simply sliding the mechanism in the fixings to release the grip. This upgrade greatly enhances the convenience and usability of the case, especially for those who frequently need to remove the lid.

Please note:

The item being sold isn't actually the hinges, it is the fixings to secure the hinge in place. The naming is slightly inaccurate in that respect. The hinges themselves are supplied with the case and remain attached to the lid once removed.
2 fixings are included in the set - enough for one case assuming the case has two hinges (which is true for the cases named above).
